Free Zone hosts the same version of Google Search, Gmail, and Google+ you'd get if you accessed it via a regular data plan. So as not to overload feature phones, this version compresses images and content and Gmail won't carry attachments. Pictures may be viewed as long as they can be compressed. Users need not worry about getting charged unknowingly as they will be prompted by a notification page if they are about to enter a chargeable page.

If you click on a link that takes you outside Google+ , or Gmail, you will be prompted if you want to continue browsing at regular browsing rates. If you proceed, you will be charged P5 for 15 minutes unless registered to a mobile internet promo. If you are not registered to a data plan yet, you will have the option to sign up for one.

Clicking on a link within the search results page is free of charge. This will allow you to view contents of your chosen site. However, clicking further into the page will be subject to the default browsing rate of P5 for 15 minutes unless registered to a mobile internet promo. Before you are charged, you will see a notification page. If you are not registered to a data plan yet, you will have the option to sign up for one.

Example: Your first click on a search link to a Wikipedia article is free but if you click on a link in the article, default charges will apply unless registered to a mobile internet promo.

You may search within Free Zone for as many times as you wish. Clicking on the results (from the Google search results page) is also free.
